Steph and Jared

Last (not shown in this or any pictures we took) Jared played a match against Stes and Bryce. And the boys whined about not being a part of it. And I froze. Seriously it was a freezing cold day in Phoenix.

He also spent a lot of time twirling with his racket and throwing the ball over the net.

This makes it look like Maxwell was really taking it seriously. He doesn't really take sports seriously at this point. But here he was having fun.

For awhile (at least as long as Maxwell's attention span held out) it was Bryce, Elijah and Xander verses Stes, Jared, and Maxwell.

We took the boys and Uncle Bryce and Aunt Stes to play tennis with the boys' new rackets. They had a lot of fun and really got into it. It is one of Elijah and Xander's favorite sections in P.E.

I was typing one handed but then Comet decided to go for a stroll. He was sitting on my finger for awhile while I edited the above image. He is really pretty with lots of vibrant colors.

Ringing out 2008!

We have had a fun, exciting year. This past weekend Bryce and Stephanie (Jared's sister) came to visit. We had lots of fun and keep hoping they will join us in Arizona soon. Jared and I stayed up way past our bedtimes every night they were here and I am so tired now. Good thing we can sleep in. I love having the boys old enough to bathe and get their own breakfast. Last night we went out to Oregano's before saying goodbye to Stes and Bryce. Jared then suggested a metro trip for the family. The new metro just opened and it is free to ride until 2009.

Merry, Merry Christmas!

Our family was totally spoiled again this year. My favorite present was "Reflections of Christ" picture book from Santa. Mom, Maxwell, and I went and saw that exhibit at the temple one of her visits here. It is such a beautiful book. The CD is also beautiful. If I had a lot more money I would have purchased the CD and book for everyone I know. At least we have enough money to eat and be a little spoiled. The boys picked out some lovely Christmas decorations for me and some yummy candy. I LOVE candy.
