Testing the Printer

To explain the big butt thing: Dad and Elijah were trying to get the new printer to work from Dad's netbook. Jared did a test page that said in giant print: "Elijah has a big o' butt!" Xander and Maxwell found this and thought it was hilarious and it went from there. As usual, Jared started it.

Everyday Rider

Today on my way home from work, right when I turned onto our street I found Maxwell, outside, alone, in his baseball uniform, cruising up and down the street on his bike. He had a baseball game to get to but he wanted to squeeze in some bicycle time. His excitement over learning how to ride his bike has been really cute.

My Fall Break

My fall break was very fun.on my fall break we went to pecos park, to watch "where the wild things are" with are cousins. we went to their house afterwards and the day after we taught maxwell how to ride on a two wheel bike.

pecos

last week we went to pecos it was fun

fall break

this fall break ends tomorrow, here is what i did. we went to pecos and hangar park. went to mcdonalds.we went to where the wild things are with our cousins.then we went to our same cousins house and had pizza. last but not least had baseball stuff

+1 Bike Rider

This weekend, we taught Maxwell how to ride his bike without training wheels. We've developed this awesome teaching method that I like to call the airhead parent method. Basically, we just wait until it dawns upon us that the kid should no longer need training wheels and then we take them off.

Yesterday, the ward had a bike rally primary activity where they all rode their bikes around the church parking lot. Sara said, "We, as in you, should really teach Maxwell how to ride his bike without training wheels." I agreed; I just hadn't even thought about it before then.

Earnest Money Finally Returned

Well, we finally got our earnest money back; it only took a couple of weeks. We wasted a lot of time dealing with this Einstein moron. Hopefully, it all happened this way for a good reason. There are many more foreclosures that are supposed to enter the AZ market in the next few months -- we just want one of them. Actually, we are thinking about going after a short sale. They take forever and sometimes end unsuccessfully, but it would be difficult to have less success at this point.

How else could he get out?

Maxwell said to Sara, "I know you've had stitches before because, how else would I even be here? I was in your belly."

Flat Tire

On my way home last night I noticed a strange noise coming from the car. I was in the left lane so I turned as soon as I could. Unfortunately I picked a pretty dark neighborhood, but I felt I needed to stop the car as soon as possible. My tire was all the way flat. Luckily (or blessedly) I did not have a blow out or anything major on the freeway. I had driven Elijah to his practice over 10 miles away and we were on our way home. I had all 3 boys with me.

Maxwell's Open House

Maxwell's Open House was a lot of fun. He really enjoyed having Jared and I there. He showed us these paper dolls he made of each member of our family. He told us each member's likes, dislikes, and jobs. Most memorable was that he stated my job was being a cook. Jared and I both laughed at that.

Elijah got a perfect score on his summative. He did so well, I would have been surprised with anything less.

Now it is Fall Break. The kids and I are still working on getting rid of a bunch of stuff even though moving probably isn't in our near future.
