The Roller Coaster Continues

Apparently, much to ours and our Realtor's surprise, we did get the house. We aren't telling the kids until the 10 days are up which start tomorrow. Tomorrow we are doing the inspection. Our Realtor received the signed contract today in his email and it took him a bit to figure out what it was. At first, he thought maybe the Seller's Agent sent it to the wrong person. Jared and I don't even know how to be excited anymore. Our close date is set for October 16th. Don't be surprised if I say, "Actually, we didn't get the house," tomorrow.

We don't want to get the kids' hopes up again. Basically the past week we have been looking at the house in Gilbert that we made our first offer on and talking to the kids about changing schools. Elijah was pretty upset about this idea. He, too, had gotten used to Maricopa and staying at the same school. Jared and I literally spent hours the last 4 days on that Gilbert house.

I think come October I may be pretty excited.

I think the "crazy roller

I think the "crazy roller coaster ride" is a part of the buying a house rules! Who wrote the rules anyway?

I am almost afraid to say congratulations the way this home thing has been going. But, congratulations!!! I am very happy for you. Let me know how it progresses. Tell all hi. Love Tom

I'll keep my fingers crossed
