Something happy . . .

Elijah's part in his summative:

"Hello my name is Elijah. I'm showing you traditions for our Silvista civilization. This represents beliefs
in the culture wheel. We came up with this from studying all the cultures this quarter.

Our tradition is to celebrate silvismas which is a holiday recognizing the anniversary of our shipwreck. We get together and exchange gifts such as silver stars and drinking cups. We also have a traditional dinner of fish and fresh fish from our island."

He did great. He mostly had it memorized. This quarter, he and his class made up their own shipwrecked civilization.

Last night we went to Xander's summative. Xander explained to us and all the other parents about the digestive system. He also did really well.

Tomorrow we get to go to Maxwell's first Open House. We are so excited to be in his classroom and see what they focused on this quarter.
